             • Conflict and Resolution •

This term, we are HISTORIANS. We will gain knowledge of the First and the Second World War as well as how conflict still continues in the world today. We will start the unit with exploring the cause of WW1 – the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. We will then turn our attention to the role of the British empire as it wasn’t solely Britain who fought in the war! We will delve into trench warfare and the experiences of soldiers during the Battle of the Somme.
